Youth
The Fort is a haven for young people including those in their second childhood and those who have never quite grown up; a mouse trail for the very young and not quite so young; a junior assault course, vehicle and guns to clamber on and models and tableaux to excite the imagination.

Schools visit the Fort from all over the country, some just to look round and others to spend a day and take part in the WW2 "Evacuee Experience".
