Other Information : I am trying to trace any-one who was with or knew of my father during the Battle of Arnham, or at any time during his service career.
He was in the RASC attached to the 93rd Airborne Division. I think his platoon was "C". His unit was flown to Nimegen and then my father is believed to have been sent onto Arnhem with his lorry to collect survivors.
I know my father was stationed at Hartsholme Hall, Skellingthorpe near Lincoln prior to going to Holland and he was a driver of anything but mainly 3 ton trucks and was assigned to following Paratroopers around collecting parachutes and stores. Two people I know of were in the same barracks as my father and that was Eric Searle, who I have been in contact with, and Oliver Davis who I would like to hear from as he was my fathers best mate at the time.

Other Information : Ray was an RAF navigator who flew with Tom Bagley a canadian pilot. They crewed up at Greenwood, NS, in 1944 and flew operation on Mosquitoes with 107 squadron from February until July 1945. They were stationed at the Epinoy/Cambrai airbase in France during this period. Ray was last heard from in 1946. He received his discharge from the RAF December 1945.
