The Evacuee Experience
Come and live a day in the life of a class of evacuees in wartime Weymouth through storytelling, role-play and practical activities
Move, by magic of imagination, back through time to an age, within living memory, when life was uncertain, possessions held lightly, and the support and respect of others cherished. Through role-play, handling of artifacts and discussion children are helped to appreciate, compare and contrast. Practical activities will address much of KS2 - "children during WWII", N/C Scheme of Work.
