Disabled Access  Two of the three levels of the Fort are accessible for disabled visitors. Those in wheelchairs will need some assistance. A new lift has been installed.
Viewing  As well as the 70 rooms of the Fort with their displays of the history of the Nothe and war time Weymouth and Portland there is the fine architecture of this listed ancient monument to study and of course the views. From the observation post a panoramic view of the magnificent Dorset Coast opens out from St. Albans Head to Portland Harbour and Chesil Beach.
